Simona A. Duque

I’m excited to offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and Psychedelic Harm Reduction and Integration Therapy (PHRI) as an extension of my background in community and spiritual herbalism, DJing, harm reduction in dance spaces, contemplative practice, and postgraduate training through Fluence, a leading educational research center in psychedelic-assisted therapy. With KAP, I offer unique opportunities for creative collaboration with clients from a culturally relevant lens including, playlists, accompanying plant allies, client-directed altar (or meaningful space) building, and trauma-informed mindfulness practices.

I’m a queer, nonbinary, Colombian American therapist dedicated to trauma-informed care. I aim to create a warm, compassionate, affirming container where my clients feel seen in their authentic selves. I work with adults & relationships, specializing in queer & trans identities, sexual trauma, BIPOC/PoGM, mindfulness (secular & Buddhist), spirituality, and psychedelic integration. My practice is kink & poly-, sex-worker-, and neurodivergent-inclusive. I draw on mindfulness-based, somatic, and strengths-based approaches to support clients navigating trauma, systemic oppression, grief, shame, and other challenging experiences. My practice is informed by liberatory and decolonial frameworks rooted in harm reduction and pleasure positivity. Personally understanding the importance of culturally responsive care, I actively engage in cultural humility in an effort to best support my clients who each come from their own unique set of lived experiences. I believe healing isn’t linear—self-compassion & attuning to our inner wisdom is ongoing, especially in a relentlessly painful & uncertain world. I’m honored to accompany my clients along this windy & bumpy path towards healing & living more honestly.I also wanted to update the bullet points for our main website:
